Join in three easy steps

If your building participates in the Sh@reCar® program we can have you on the road in no time.

1. Driver Affiliation Form

• Complete the Driver Affiliation Form (“DA Form”)

• Read and sign the accompanying Terms and Conditions – Communal Cars

• Sign the DA Form and send to Sh@recar®:
  – By Email: admin@sharecar.com.au
  – Mail: PO Box 4353, Burwood East, VIC 3151

2. Driver Affiliation Verification

Sh@recar® will conduct a verification process and will confirm or deny your Driver Affiliation request by email. If not successful, Sh@recar® will be in touch to explain why.

For successful applicants, you will be required to complete an induction process with the Building Manager or a Sh@recar® representative. The induction will cover the following topics:

• Overview and provision of access i.e Booking, lock boxes, open and locking process
• Provision of terms and conditions
• Overview of the cars
• Security
• Petrol tank location and fuel used
• Important document location
• Road side assist
• GPS tracking – tracks harsh breaking and speed infringements
• Vehicle insurance

3. Booking Process and Confirmation

• Log your booking requests online via www.sharecar.com.au

• Receive confirmation of your booking request

• Access the car at your nominated time for the duration of the Booking Period

• Return the Car to its nominated car park at the end of the Booking Period, in line with the provisions of the terms of conditions of use. (The vehicle must be refuelled or connected to the electric charging station before each return).
